The 31st of December is always a night to remember or for those who like to start the party as soon as possible, then I shall correct myself and say a day to remember as well!
Usually this day involves sparkling fancy outfits, some stiletto heels for them ladies who can barely walk in them especially after getting smashed, a mobile phone to drunk dial or text all your ex and current lovers wishing them a "very happy new year... whooooo I'm drunk!" message and finally all accompanied with a tonne of alcohol. Basically the night is most likely something you won't remember much of the next morning and possibly you'll be so hungover that you'd cancel your scheduled work for that 1st day of the year.
Yes 31st December is always one that goes off!
To begin my blog for today I want to post this very special message to my older sister Alisha who has officially turned 21 today! This is a remarkable accomplishment for her considering she looks like she is 12 years old. But whatevs! (like the "teenie boppers" would say)
HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY ALISHA!
You mean so much to me and I want to wish you all the best for everything you do in life and whereever you go. I am very proud of you today for all you have accomplished and I can guarantee that for the rest of my life I know I will forever be proud of you because you really are an awesome person as a friend, a daughter, a cousin and most importantly an older sister!
So here's to you buddy. A very happy birthday and many more very happy ones to come in the future!
Okay so now that my birthday wish speech is done time to talk business eh?
Well my best friend Chantelle more well known as "Tent" shall be here very soon. We haven't really planned anything to do tonight but I'm guessing it may involve some serious viewing time of Gossip Girl and possibly a trip to see the fireworks, but not those same Darling Harbour ones!
Soon we shall be off to get those final decorations and balloons display for my sister 21st party on Sunday. I reckon it'll be rather awesome considering its on a ship. I've even prepared a little song, but I'll keep it a secret for now. Ooh talking about preparing I still have to write Alisha's birthday speech.
Damn it's hard trying to fit all these countless funny, embarassing and utterly destructive memories all in the one speech which shall not exceed 4 minutes!
So maybe I shall get cracking then aye?
Well regardless of what y'all are all doing tonight, where your doing it and most importantly who your doing it with *shifty look* I hope you all have a very happy New Year and an even more happier NYE in the remaining 12 hours or so left of the day!
Takecare and we shall next meet in the new year... 2010, HERE WE COME!
Till next time here's a little quote for the year ahead!

I like blogging oh and "Hi Cindy"
Today was a rather eventful day so I like to believe.
No I didn't get my assignments completed, nor did I pack for India or burn that music for my sister's 21st. But I did go shopping and successfully found a beautiful golden boobtube dress for her 21st. And no once again, that dress isn't for me, it's for her.
I've been a good girl and rejected all the potential dresses, jeans, tops and shoes I laid my eyes on today. There was this one dress however in Review that really caught my attention but I still kept my guard strong and walked out of the store with my head held high and without a green and blue carrybag reading "Review" across the centre in gold. Though I'm not quite sure which is better, the satisfaction of knowing that you just saved yourself from cashing out 200 bucks on a dress that you would possibly only wear once or knowing that you definately will never find a dress that elegant ever in your life again. Damnit, now I regret walking out!
So even though Alisha, my older sister who will be 21 tomorrow, knew that all along her dream "birthday outfit" was actually in Liverpool this whole time, she still managed to drag me and her bestfriend to Parramatta and from there to Blacktown and from there back to goddamn Liverpool. How I hate Liverpool and it's annoying customers and stupid skanks who go there to loiter cos they can't do anything more worthwhile. And now I feel stupid for ending right back there, surrendering (or in Gossip Girl terms, waving the white flag) to Liverpool. Yes Liverpool, you win again!
However after a long day it was so relaxing to just come home, kick off my shoes and lay down.
So that shall finish it for today my folks here's a little quote for you shoppaholics and I hope y'all have all devised your NYE party plan, because I most definately have not!
"Whoever said money can't buy happiness simply didn't know where to go shopping." - Bo Derek
Oh and "Hi Cindy". This has been most awkward featuring you in my blog but as the "teenie bopper" would say "whatevs!"
So y'all who don't know who Cindy is she is one of my best mates and we go way back. Btw her last name is Make-him-moan so be sure to holla at her for any services ;]
Love you Maikim :)

I want to punch your face so your nose bleeds and your teeth fall out!
Ever had the feeling where you just want to bust a cap up someone fat ass because your on the verge of a mental breakdown and it's all because of them?
Well that's exactly how I feel right now. Some people should learn some manners, use their common sense and get the fuck out of your life!
Yes my fellow bloggers, I currently have an issue with a certain someone who I've known for a while now who just shits me. They know exactly how to piss me off and their goddamn good at it too.
Unfortunately I can't tell them "fuck out of my life" just yet but I can sense the time is near when I'll be permitted to do exactly that.
Anyways lets move on considering I've pretty much vented all my anger towards that douche bag turd licking idiot!
So like yesterday morning, this morning I also woke up again with the intention to dedicate myself to my assignments and yet again here I am on my blog, blogging away.
In 5 days I will be jetting off to Singapore and India for 2 weeks which worries me because I still have so much "unfinished business" aka "assignments" to do before school starts, oh and FYI I have no clue when that is... I always make an effort to know what date school ends and the holidays kick in but am always reluctant to learn the date of the day we return!
Anyways in between today and the day I board a plane to Singapore and India, I still have to complete those two assignments (as previously mentioned), go shopping for a dress for my sister, Alisha's, 21st, buy shoes as well, burn music for her 21st, prepare a speech for her 21st and also devise a plan for NYE (which is also the day of her 21st) so I'm not stuck at home watching the Channel 9 fireworks display with the old folks.
And today afternoon my mother has ever so kindly set a "movie-date" for me with my baby sister Mali to watch Cloudy with a chance of MEATBALLS! but me being the not-so-fanatic cartoon movie buff, might end up detouring with the kiddo and watching Sherlock Holmes, something I've been craving to watch!
As y'all can all see I have many things which I have to do oh and did I mention I also have to fit in some time to practice my reverse parking so that when I get back from India I'll be ready for my test which I've already booked. Ahh so much things to do and so little time to do it!
So I think I'll have to sign off now with another quote...
"If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" - Mr Alfonsi (My Maths Teacher)
Melissa
p.s: Cindy if your reading this, I shall feature you in my blog tomorrow... So hang in there pal :)
OH and one final thing...
A VERY HAPPY 49th BIRTHDAY TO MY DADDY!
Where ever you are Papa, we all miss you very much and wish you were here with us today. There are so many things I want to say to you, so many places I want to go with you, but unfortunately your not here but if you were things would've been so much different! Love you forever Papa xo

KHIEM!
There are 4 days left till we begin 2010 and I still haven't decided what my new years resolution shall be.
It's a tough decision to make considering it needs to be something you know you can abide by and at the same time can also create a small change in your life.
Decisions, decisions, decisions... always a hard thing to overcome.
Well besides that all morning I have been contemplating whether or not to begin my Ancient History and Legal Studies assignments. I hate holiday homework, infact I don't even understand why the goddamn school gives us a holiday when they accompany it with a stack of assignments and homework to complete.
So like all other "normal" teenagers, I also woke up this morning with the intention to sit down and dedicate myself to eliminating these two assignments.
Obviously that didn't happen.
Instead I hopped onto Msn and ended up starting a conversation with almost half of my contact list. Surprising how much you miss out on when you avoid Msn for 2 weeks.
While on Msn I was approached by my very "awesome" friend Khiem. He tells me that my blogs pretty cool and asks if he could be featured in it. So me being the kind hearted person I am politely smiled and replied "yes".
So here you go Khiem you have officially been featured in my blog. I'm not too sure what I should really talk about in regards to you Khiem but let me say you are pretty awesome! And next year I shall kick your ass in City2Surf and you will owe me a feed from Maccas! :)
Okay now I feel guilty for spending half my day on the internet not having even touched my assignments. A rush of obligation has suddenly hit me to disconnect the internet so I can peacefully work on the computer without the ever itchy distractions of Msn, Facebook and now this blog.
So like always my clan members I shall sign off now with a short quote by my awesome friend Khiem.

sale, sale, SALE!
Honestly post-christmas sales beat christmas day by a mile!
As soon as I entered Liverpool Westfields, I got pushed and shoved, left and right, by all these crazy shoppers as they all ran into Guess.
50% off all items in the store... I don't blame them!
So like all other crazy bargain hunters I queued up and waited for entry into the store. The store was basically a mess, clothes lying everywhere, bags left all over the place and even some crying children looking for their neglectful mothers.
Talk about havoc, mayhem and utter destruction!
Practically all shops at Westfields were like that so I pretty much left with a bag in hand only carrying two black bras I purchased. Shopping just isn't the same anymore!
...
Star City on the other hand was not quite as happening as Westfields was. We ended up going there for dinner at the Garden buffet. One thing that never really made sense to me is the name of the buffet. For starters it wasn't even located in a garden let alone any form of greenery around. And secondly the amount you pay to eat at the goddamn restuarant you'd expect a feast for a heffa to be served. That restaurant is so depressing it shouldn't even be called an "all-you-can-eat" buffet. Hmmphh anyways one good thing about hitting the city is the amount of eyecandy you get to perve on. Let me just say, that restaurant, regardless of how deprived from food it was, was definately going off in terms of male attractions.
So that pretty much wraps up my blog for today.
But I think I've finally decided how I want to sign off...

Thanksgiving or Boxing day?
Today I'm going to keep this super duper short!
Boxing day is usually spent quarrelling with strangers you never thought you'd have to quarrel with in order to lay your hands on those Diana Ferrari boots or those black stiletto Gucci's or even those simple little post-xmas sale deco's for your christmas tree.
Yes Boxing day in Sydney is spent doing exactly that!
Weather is another little bugger which ultimately prevented me from participating in boxing day quarrels at Myers.
Initially the plan was to head upto the city for the day and shop at the big outlets where all the sales were, basically Myers and David Jones.
So in general my day was spent doing nothing other than laying around and hoping for something good to happen, which it didn't.
Well then thats all the events for Saturday the 26th of December right there for you folks.
Till next time stay safe and here's another little quote for y'all

Egg nog and fruit log... MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Firstly I'd like to wish y'all a very Happy Christmas! and to my buddies David Ellul-Thorn and Yen Nguyen a very Merry Birthday!
Okay now that thats out of the way, I shall begin.
Christmas morning was actually spent pretty well, better than I ever expected!
We woke up at about 9, made "Max Brenner" style waffles for the family and gathered around the tree to open those few gifts we displayed underneath.
I believe everyone was rather pleased with the gifts they received, especially my mom considering she got the most gifts out of all of us!
I was pretty impressed by the gifts I received as well. From the parents I received 50 bucks which was pretty schmick as well as season 2 of... you know it... Gossip Girl!
From the younger sibling of mine, Angela, I got a Westfields gift voucher which was intelligent of her cos she knows I'm picky! :)
And finally by my older sister Alisha I received a pedicure voucher, season 1 of Gossip Girl and tickets to Rusell Peter's comedy show in March 2010. Oh and did I mention I also received a trip to Bali in April 2010 funded by my great older sister Alisha!!!
Gee my family know me well :)
So now I'm sitting here contemplating the design of the card I created for my nana. It's interesting what you can make with a few bits of paper, some string, laminating sheets and a few pencils of green and red shades! The card actually looks dodgy, so I believe, but hey they do say things which are hand-made are best!
Well now that I've pretty much completed the activities of the early crisp morning of Christmas, I think I'm going to hop into the shower and get dressed to visit my nana. The hospital isn't my ideal location to spend Christmas but my nana is definately my ideal person to spend it with.
So till next time my fellow bloggers stay cool and I shall leave you with another little quote...

It definately don't feel like "Christmas Eve"
Ahh Christmas eve, a day where mothers do their final grocery shopping, children beg their parents to open their gifts a day early and fathers finish up at work to ensure Christmas day is spent with the family. Families get together eat a nice hearty Christmas eve meal and plan out their activities for the festive day ahead.
Such a splendid day indeed.
But for me things don't happen like that anymore. It sorta sucks actually because I enjoy doing those traditional little things most families continue to do even today.
Instead Christmas for me this year will consist of an early morning wake up call, maybe open those few gifts under our lifeless tree followed by a half hour or so dedicated to feeding my baby sister Mali and then possibly a trip to the hospital. How do I know all this?
Well thats basically what I've been doing on a daily basis for the past 3 weeks... (excluding of course the opening of the gifts bit)
Why would that change now?
...
Unfortunately this year my nana (granddad) is in hospital due to a kidney that refuses to function any longer. Along with this he has a whole list of other miniscule problems which have all joined forces at once to form one massive illness.
I think it's time that I accept old age has a big part to play in his illness, afterall you can't stay young forever. I am glad though knowing that my nana has lived his life to the fullest, the hard part is watching him suffer in his last few moments. Everyone in my family is reluctant to say the "d-y-i-n-g" word and I'm not at all surprised... we can all hope right?
But we all know the truth... his time is almost up!
Even though this is the situation at home for me, I refuse to let all this sadness ruin my 17th christmas and possibly my nana's last.
....
So considering this is my first blog post I think I'm going to cut it short now and finish up. I really hoped this wouldn't turn into an emotional venting scheme for me but I guess thats exactly what its become, well for now atleast.
Since I really haven't got a sign-off quote yet I shall leave you with an inspirational reminder!

And that's exactly what I'm going to do!
